The RPHA 91 Carbon is HJC’s new modular touring helmet, designed for all-day comfort. The new Premium Integrated Matrix EVO Carbon (PIM EVO) shell offers improved impact resistance and is lightweight thanks to the use of reinforcement materials that include carbon-aramid fiber, carbon fiber, fiberglass, organic fiber, and flax fiber (a natural fiber).

The new distortion-free HJ-37 visor and HJ-V17 sunshield provide the rider with clear, amplified peripheral vision. The precision-engineered chin bar locking system now features a hidden locking point that allows for smooth contact and reduced pressure on the cheek area. To minimize noise levels, the RPHA 91’s 3D-engineered quiet interior focuses on significantly reducing road noise. It also includes a Neck Wrap System to ensure noise reduction. For added comfort, the EPS design is eyeglass-friendly. The RPHA 91 is also compatible with HJC’s second-generation Bluetooth Smart systems.

Technical features:

PIM EVO shell:

New shell material, including carbon-aramid fiber, carbon fiber, fiberglass, organic non-woven fabric and natural flax fiber, to provide better impact performance and a more comfortable and lightweight helmet.

New sunshade mechanism:

Integrated sun visor: The smoked sun visor with anti-fog coating opens quickly and easily via a new actuation system located at the bottom. Its new mechanism allows for three different depth adjustments based on your body shape and preferences, for an optimal fit.

Visor lock:

The new visor lock system is easier to open and safer thanks to the push and release system.

Chin guard features:

The chin bar can be locked when you want to ride with the chin bar open for added safety. The chin bar retracts when the helmet is in the open position for easier donning and reduced wind resistance. Additionally, the lower locking system automatically hides when the helmet is open to reduce wind noise and resistance. The new chin bar with a 2-way mechanism allows the helmet to be more compact (lower than before) when open, reducing wind noise and resistance.

Second Generation Smart HJC:

The second-generation models of the SMART HJC premium Bluetooth communication system feature an all-in-one design that’s fully integrated into the helmet, allowing for optimal weight balance and aerodynamic performance while riding. The SMART HJC 50B and 21B can be installed on the RPHA 71, RPHA 91, RPHA 31, or i71. Jointly developed with SENA and designed specifically for HJC helmets. *All SMART HJC devices are sold separately.
